Mid-Term Up

I just read my last blog entry from back before the semester started... wow, was I naieve.

To update you all, I received A's in both of my summer courses. Bring my average to 7.5 out of 9. A B+ average. Not to bad, I think I need 7.6 for "Cum Laude" status... We'll see.

I do have the worst math course in the whole world, which I can already tell is going to bring my marks down. If not fail me, forcing me to take another course in the winter term.

I am still looking forward to finishing school, and starting the next phase of my life. Roughly 6 months away...

A lot of things changed for me since my August post... and wow, have they ever.

My brother's Wedding was a very important event for my outlook on life. I don't want to delve too deeply into the emotional/spiritual change I received down in Tennessee for that week, but it was big.

I miss my family. A lot, I wish I could see them more often, But we do what we have to do, and where we have to do it.

I have never been so busy in my life, as I have been this semester. I am very proud of myself, and my ability to multitask and stay above the work load (or just on the surface). I know I couldn't do it alone though, I have been blessed with a lot of help, and I very greatful.

Taking on 6 courses, 10 hours a work of week, 2 T.A'ing positions, and 2 volunteer jobs for my college (Sport & Rec, and macmedia) have taken up all my time, and then some! I don't get a full 8 hours of sleep each night which really sucks, and some weeks I don't make it to the gym at all, (this week for example) which really weights on me.

I find the gym a release of all the stress of the day(s) which when I can't get out and be active, I turn to the drink! (not in an alcoholic sort of way) I just have one while I flip on some sports and mellow out.

It feels weird to say "flip on some sports". I've never really been a big sports fan, sure I jump into the World Cup, or Super bowl, or Stanley cup, when things get interesting. But since the semester started, i've been really into the sports, especially College football.

Now every week I look forward to the games on saturday!

Anyways.. back to what i was talking about..

since i've been so busy with everything, I havn't really sat down to assess my current situation, which is both a good and bad thing...

Ah well, thats a conversation for another blog entry (which, will probably happen in a few months! HAH!)

Alright, i've procrastinated enough, time to study hard.
